Refund Policy

PMJ Gold sells precious-metal jewellery and investment products (coins, bars, and related designs). Because metal prices move continuously and products are purity-certified, refunds are limited to the situations described below.

A refund may be considered when:

• Your order is cancelled by us before dispatch (for example, stock or verification issues).
• You cancel within the window allowed under our Cancellation Policy and payment has already been collected.
• You receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item and report it within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/video and the order ID.
• A prepaid order fails after successful payment due to a technical or banking error (duplicate charge), after verification.

Unless required by applicable law, refunds are generally not available when:

• The product has been delivered in good condition and matches the ordered weight, purity, and design.
• You change your mind after the order has been packed or dispatched.
• The seal, hallmark tag, certificate, or packaging has been tampered with or removed.
• Price difference arises because live metal rates changed after your order was confirmed.
• COD orders that were refused at delivery without a valid quality/defect claim (courier/return charges may apply).

We may ask for bank/UPI details (for COD or offline settlements), delivery photos, and product return before approving a refund.

• UPI / Google Pay / PhonePe / card / net banking: refunded to the original payment source where possible.
• COD: refunded by bank transfer / UPI after we receive and verify the returned product (if return is required).
• Timeline: once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 5·7 business days. Banks/UPI apps may take additional time to reflect the credit.

Making charges, shipping (if any), and payment gateway fees may be deducted where a return is accepted after dispatch, as communicated at the time of approval.

Order value is calculated using the live/admin metal rate, making charges, applicable GST, and any discount shown at checkout for the selected weight. Refund amounts (when approved) are based on the amount actually paid for that order, not on later market rates.

If your package arrives damaged or the item is wrong:

• Do not use or alter the product.
• Share unboxing photos/video and keep all packaging.
• We will arrange replacement or refund after verification, at our discretion based on availability and the nature of the issue.
